「Hey God!」の箇所ですが、これはシャーロックホームズがゴドフリーノートンに神様呼ばわりされたのだと思いますが、
「Hey」の良い訳を思いつきません。
「Hey」は相手の気を引く時のかけ言葉で、日本語にすると「やあ、ねえ、おい、こら、ちょっと、おう、」などなどになりますが、この場面にピッタリ合いそうなものがありません。
なので、そのまま「へえいっ」にしてあります。
強いて言えば「おぉい、ちょっと」という感じでしょうか？
この、神様呼ばわりされたことが、ホームズの思い出し笑いに一番つながっているのだと思います。
ここを、「ありがたい」とか「助かった」に訳しては、伝わらないと思うのです。
